Newark Elks #391 Helps Fund New K-9 "Slim"

Newark Elks Lodge #391, through their annual Bike Run for Charity, was able to help the Licking County Drug Task Force fund their new drug sniffing dog, “Slim”.

Slim is a 15-month old lab mix and lives with his handler Officer Hayden Walpole. Although Slim is still learning his manners, he has been trained to sniff out drugs and is the department’s newest dog.
