2026 State Golf Outing

Hello Elk Golfers!!!

 

      Marysville Elks Lodge #1130 will be hosting the 2026 Ohio Elks State Golf Tournament on September 12th and 13th, 2026. The tournament will be held at The Ridge and Darby Creek Golf Course, both featuring 18-hole golf courses within 5 minutes of the Lodge property (both listed in top 10 in Central Ohio USGA approved). 8:00 am and 1:00 pm Shotgun starts will be used on Saturday at Darby Creek, and Sunday at the Ridge for both Open and Senior flights. Final Flight assignments will be based on a lodges distance from the host lodge. 

      There is a change this year, due to an increase over the past several years in course green fees and food costs, the entry fee for this year’s event has been raised $10.00. The entry fee per golfer will be $140.00 this year which includes 36 holes of golf with a cart, lunch at the course, welcome gift bag and dinner at the Marysville Elks Lodge on Saturday night. A tournament package including tournament formats, entry forms and lodging information will be mailed to each lodge. This information can also be obtained at ohioelks.com/golf

      The qualification to enter as a Senior/Ladies team will remain the same as previous years. To submit a Senior/Ladies entry, at least 2 of the golfers on your team must be ladies, players over 62 years old, or a mixture of both. All other teams will play in the Open Flight. 

      Depending on entry numbers, both Open and Senior/Ladies flights will be equally split into “Champion A” and “B” divisions based on Saturday play results with the same number of teams assigned to each division. In the event of an uneven number of teams in a flight, the tournament tie-breaker rules will be used with the tie-breaker winning team placed into the “Champion A” division. Ladies and players 62 and older will utilize the Ladies and Senior Tee’s respectively. Entries into the tournament will be limited to the first 40 team entry forms received.     

      An optional skins game is also available. Skins money should accompany the entry fee and is $80.00 per team. Entry form with payment must be received no later than August 24, 2026.  Check or credit card methods of payment are all accepted (credit cards will be charged $5.00 extra). You will receive a confirmation email within 5 days of receiving payment. Course starting hole confirmations will be sent out by the Tournament Director after entry form submission deadline. 

       We are asking for your assistance in getting this information out to the members of your lodge. Marysville has been working hard to ensure all golfers and guests have a fantastic weekend of golf and fun! As mentioned above, tournament information packets including entry form will be uploaded onto the ohioelks.com/golf web page as they become available. I am currently accepting applications from lodges willing to host a future Elks State Golf Tournament. I would love to see a lodge from the South West, South East, or North East Districts submit an application to host a tournament. Wouldn’t it be exciting to rotate this event around our great state association and play all the wonderful golf courses Ohio has to offer!!
