While we're not a Veteran organization, we are grateful to those who served and will always reach out to help a Veteran in need. As long as there are Veterans, the Elks will be there.
Our history supporting American Veterans is as old as our order. Elks from across Ohio directly support Veterans and Veteran Organizations every day.
More than 3,900 Veterans were adopted by Elks across the country last year.
The Elks National Veterans Service Commission awarded $1,000 - $3,000 Freedom Grants to projects that serve veterans and active-duty military members to 600 lodges across the country.
Over 40,000 American Veterans sleep on the streets every night. The Elks Welcome Home Kit programs is helping eliminate homeless vets by donating $300-$600 per veteran to help get them in a home.
The Elks serve over 275,000 veterans at VA Hospitals across the country every year.
