Lima Elks #54 Donates Defibrillator & First Aid Kits to Local Park Ranger
Lima Elks Lodge #54 presented the City of Lima $847.50 to help outfit park ranger patrol cars with updated medical equipment during a brief ceremony Wednesday.
Made possible through the Ohio Elks Association and the Lima Fifty-Four Scholastic and Athletic Fund, the funds will purchase one Head Start automated external defibrillator and five first-aid kids for the park ranger’s vehicles.
“So every one of our cruisers now have AEDs, and in addition, we got first aid kids put in, so it’s a great partnership that we’re able to work together with the Elks to provide items that the community needs,” Lima Park Ranger Randy Kohli said.
