Athens Elks #973 Shine Spotlight on Veteran Stand Down

Athens Elks Lodge #973 used a $2,000 Spotlight Grant from the Elks National Foundation to purchase supplies for our local veterans. These supplies included backpacks, toiletries and blankets and were handed out during the Athens County Stand Down event that was held on October 2nd. Twenty lodge members volunteered to help pack the packages for distribution during the event.
