Berea Elks Lodge #1815 Helps Drug Awareness and Public Safety

The Berea Elks Lodge #1815 donated $500 to the Berea Police Department to cover costs for materials for the Too Good For Drugs program that is taught to all 4th and 5th graders in the Berea City School system.

Additionally, another $1,000 dollars was donated to the Berea Fire Department to purchase new smoke detectors and lock boxes to be delivered to those in the community in need.

The checks were presented publicly at a recent City of Berea Council Meeting.

These funds were made possible by a Gratitude Grant from the Elks National Foundation.
